Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent generation of deviation, etc. of a pedal shaft, even if excessive pedal force is applied, when stopping a pedal arm at a full open position in an accelerator pedal device. SOLUTION: This device is provided with the pedal arm 30 having the accelerator pedal 35, main bodies 10 and 20 for oscillatably supporting the pedal arm 30, a return spring 40 for returning the pedal arm 30 to a rest position, and full open stoppers for stopping the pedal arm 30 to the full open position for stepping the pedal arm 30 to the maximum. As the full open stoppers, a first stopper 19a provided on the main bodies 10 and 20 and abutted with a part of the pedal arm 32b thereon and a second stopper 19b arranged at a position substantially point symmetry with the first stopper 19a with respect to an oscillation center of the pedal arm 30 and abutted with an other part 32c of the pedal arm 30 thereon are adopted. As a result, even when excessive stepping force is applied, positional deviation of the pedal shaft 31 can be prevented. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
