Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the need for using a flush butt welding means in forming a spring. SOLUTION: A wheel cover comprises a disk portion 2 covering the surface of a wheel 99 and playing a role of a decoration surface, a plurality of engaging pawls 1 formed so as to stand upright from the disk portion 2 near the outer periphery portion of the disk portion 2 and contributing to the engagement to the rim portion 9 of the wheel 99, and a spring 5 secured to the engaging pawls 1 and formed by forming a metal wire of a piano wire or a hard steel wire to an annular shape. The disk portion 2 and the plurality of engaging pawls 1 are integrally formed from a plastic material. The ring-shaped spring 5 contributing to securing to the rim portion 9 of the wheel 99 is formed at the front end portions of the engaging pawls 1. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
