PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interface or a display routine in browsing and setting a function block for executing integrated optimization control in a process control system to allow a user to browse and set variables, numerical values or other parameters related to the integrated optimization control block in the process control system. SOLUTION: The interface routine is used for displaying the current operation status of the integrated function block. In executing the integrated optimization control, a user can select an input and an output of the function block. The user can select a specific optimization function or a desired optimization function used in the function block or the like. The interface routine displays a plurality of input/output curves relating to an optimizer and a controller part of the integrated function blocks as a part of an algorithm used by the integrated function block by a method facilitating the browsing and selection of the curves.
