Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filtering technique for simply, appropriately eliminating noise without increasing the size of a circuit required for filtering even if a noise frequency can change easily. SOLUTION: A filter coefficient computing section 6 of a weight measuring instrument uses a specific arithmetic expression to obtain a filter coefficient for outputting to a signal processing section 5. The signal processing section 5 uses the filter coefficient for executing the filtering to a measuring signal Ds. The arithmetic expression includes a parameter for specifying the band position of an attenuation band in which the amount of attenuation should be increased partially and a user can input the value via a data input section 7. In this manner, the parameter in which the physical meaning of the band position of the attenuation band can be grasped easily is used for changing the filter coefficient, thus simply changing the attenuation band and hence simply, appropriately eliminating the noise.
