Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further improve durability of a forming section of an upside seal surface so as to stabilize sealing by the upside seal surface even for a long time use. SOLUTION: This mushroom type valve element has a substantially columnar body 10. The body 10 is disposed in a cylinder 1 having a supply port 2 of a lubricating oil and a pipe 6 for passing the lubricating oil and has a downside seal surface 11 for closing the supply port 2 side of the cylinder 1 during non-supply of the lubricating oil. The upside of the body 10 is provided with the upside seal surface 12 for closing an inlet 6a of the pipe 6 during supply of the lubricating oil. The upside edge 10a of a body 10 is provided with a mushroom-like lip 20 that expands and opens from the upside edge 10a to the upside and comes into elastic-contacts with the inner wall of the cylinder 1 on its outside, and the upside seal surface 12 is formed on the upper surface 30 of the body 10.
