Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode which can simultaneously prevent the degradation in washing efficiency and plating efficiency by removing bubbles of hydrogen, oxygen, etc., while preventing the suction of a metallic strip due to accompaniment streams. SOLUTION: The electrode is used for a continuous treatment line of the metallic strip. The electrodes 11 and 12 divided to a plurality in a passing direction are provided with a number of slits 13 and 14 penetrating to the front and the rear. The slits 13 of the electrodes 11 on the start side of passing are inclined in such a manner that the slits of the metallic strip side face more toward the passing direction than the rear side and the slits of the electrodes on the end side of passing are inclined to an opposite direction. As a result, the accompaniment streams can be controlled to an adequate speed and the suction of the metallic strip can be prevented. Also, the degradation in the treatment efficiency can be prevented by removing the bubbles of the hydrogen, oxygen, etc. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
