Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable to maintain insulation property against an electrode even when a translucent resin sheet is made thinner with a glass valve made canalicular. SOLUTION: A phosphor layer 3 is formed leaving an opening part 4 for an optical projection along a pipe axial direction on an inner peripheral surface of a glass valve 1, and rare gas 2 mainly consisting of xenon is sealed in. Electrodes 5a, 5b having almost the same length as the full length of glass valve 1 are mounted in opposition with each other on an outer peripheral surface of the glass valve 1. A translucent resin sheet 6 is covered with double windings avoiding the opening part 4 on the outer peripheral surface of the glass valve 1. With this, the translucent resin sheet 6 is to be wound double at the part of the electrodes 5a, 5b, and wound single at the opening part 4. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
