Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable single sign-on by network authentication at the beginning of Internet connection. SOLUTION: A gateway 7 is located in a connection point where a user terminal 2 is connected with the Internet 1, and performs a process to the network authentication 51 for Internet connection authentication from the user terminal 2. The gateway 7 transfers a network authentication result 52 to an authentication confirmation server 3. The user terminal 2 sends a service request 55 to a service server 4. When the service server 4 receives the service request 55, the service server 4 transmits authentication confirmation 56 to the authentication confirmation server 3. When receiving the authentication confirmation 56, the authentication confirmation server 3 sends a notification 57 of authentication completion back to the service server 4 because the authentication of the user terminal 2 is already completed.
