Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of inhibiting the growth of sludge from a plating line where a total current varies and of drastically prolonging the service life of electroplating electrodes. SOLUTION: Even if the total current is reduced due to a slow down of a passing speed in the plating line arranged with the electroplating electrodes 3, such as PbO2electrodes in a chrome plating solution and IrO2electrodes in a tin plating solution or galvanizing solution, indicating unstable characteristics during de-energization, a controller 4 distributes the currents to respective paths in such a manner that the prescribed minimum energization currents are assured in any paths. As a result, the electrodes are always chemically stably maintained and the service life thereof can be drastically prolonged. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
