Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recorder/reproducer in which memory writing log data can be held accurately even when power supply is interrupted incorrectly by controlling the number of times of writing in a nonvolatile memory. SOLUTION: The recorder/reproducer controls recording and reproduction of voice data based on an operational instruction inputted to an operation display section 5 and stores the content of the operational instruction including log address data sequentially, as log data, in a nonvolatile memory 9. The nonvolatile memory 9 has a log address storage area, a mark storage area, and a log content storage area for storing the log data along with the log address and mark. Incorrect interruption of power supply is discriminated by detecting a mark stored in the log content storage area corresponding to the address stored in the log address storage area of the nonvolatile memory 9 and a mark stored at a following address.
