Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte liquid battery with an excellent cycle property even if using a glass fiber separator, and using metallic lithium for a negative electrode. SOLUTION: A separator 3 is formed by laminating a first layer 3a not chemically reacting with lithium and a second layer 3b made of glass fiber unwoven cloth with an excellent liquid holding property, and the first layer 3a is arranged so as to contact with a negative electrode plate 1. By the above, as the second layer 3b does not contact with metallic lithium of the negative electrode plate 1, generation of chemical reaction between them are prevented and the cycle property of the battery is improved.
