Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IP telephone system by which a user can change his/her telephone number by himself/herself. SOLUTION: Each IP telephone can send an instruction for changing corresponding relationship between an IP address and a telephone number attached to the IP telephone system. Specifically, an IP packet storing a telephone number for a new setting contains data indicating that it is an IP packet for changing the corresponding relationship between the telephone number and the IP address.
