SOLUTION: In the gasifying melting furnace 1 in which various waste is thermally decomposed, gasified, and melted in high temperature reduction atmosphere in the gasifying furnace 2 and melted slug 9 is discharged from the slug gutter 12, a tubular flame burner 13 for maintaining temperature is provided in at least either of the gasifying furnace 2 and the slug gutter 12 to use gasifying melting furnace gas generated by itself whose calorific value changes as fuel in order to reduce fuel cost and operation cost.
