Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an analysis / measurement light source that effectively uses light in a plurality of directions, in which the radiant intensity of a light emitted from a lamp containing a filament is locally maximized, prevents the filament life from shortening, avoids an apparatus from lowering its reliability, and supplies a large amount of sharply convergent light. SOLUTION: In the apparatus, respectively independent focusing optics, i.e. concave mirrors 10A, 10B and slits 11A, 11B are arranged in two directions in which the radiant intensity of the light emitted from the filament 1 is locally maximized, and light sources SA, SB containing them are disposed on the both sides, and independent light beams are supplied to independent beam splitters ZA, ZB. Therefore, the analysis / measurement light source, which supplies the large amount of sharply convergent light to a plurality of analysis / measurement apparatuses by using one filament 1, can be stably provided, and thereby drastically reducing the total power consumption of the plurality of analysis / measurement apparatuses.
