SOLUTION: The optical data storage medium includes: a first substrate which includes a plurality of first data structures on its surface; a second substrate which is provided above the first substrate and includes a plurality of second data structures provided above the first data structures on its surface; a reflection layer provided on the surface of the second substrate; and a shield layer which is provided between the reflection layer and the first substrate, covers the first data structures and is equipped with variable reflectance to limit optical read of the second data structures.
