Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an external circuit for displacement sensors for avoiding detection errors with respect to environmental changes. SOLUTION: The external circuit for displacement sensors is connected to a displacement sensor, having a second conductor AB that is arranged close to a first, single conductor L so that it can be displaced. The external circuit for displacement sensors comprises an oscillating means SOC for supplying AC across both the ends of the first conductor L; a first circuit row for generating a displacement level voltage VDETECTby rectifying and smoothing a voltage across both the ends of the first conductor L; a second circuit row for generating a constant voltage VDUMMYby rectifying and smoothing the output of the oscillation means OSC; and a differential amplification circuit DIF3, where the output of the first and second circuit rows is inputted.
