PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink for preventing shrinkage of an ink roller, scarcely putting environmental loads, such as pollution of working environment and air pollution, nor causing stains on a printing plate, nor defects in printability. SOLUTION: This ink for preventing the shrinkage of the ink roller contains a vegetable oil and/or a non-aromatic solvent (component A), and an aliphatic dibasic acid ester [component (a)] and/or (a fatty acid ester of tall oil and/or a fatty acid ester of a vegetable oil) [component (b)], wherein the component (a) is contained in an amount of 2-15 wt% based on the total amount of the ink, and the component (b) is contained in an amount of not less than 0.5 wt% but less than 5.0 wt% based on the total amount of the ink.
