Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curtain airbag stabilizing a developing behavior when an expansion chamber expands and develops. SOLUTION: A plurality of expansion chambers 2 and 3 and non-expansion parts 4 between the chambers 2 and 3 are formed in front and rear parts of an airbag body 1 to be expanded and developed to a lower side along an inside surface of a cabin by introducing high pressure gas jetted from an inflator at the time of a collision into an airbag body 1 from a gas introduction port 5 provided on one end side of the airbag body 1. The expansion chambers 2 and 3 are communicated by a communicating passage 7. A space between the expansion chamber 2 far from the gas introduction port 5 and the gas introduction port 5 is connected by a gas introduction passage 6 formed along an upper edge of the airbag body 1. Since the high pressure gas jetted to the gas introduction port 5 flows into the expansion chamber 2 far from the gas introduction port 5 earlier by passing the inside of the gas introduction passage 6 expanded by expansion, the developing behavior of the airbag body 1 is stabilized.
