Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door closing apparatus simple in structure, low in cost and optionally adjustable in the opening angle of a door even with a change in a mounting position to a door and a building side frame. SOLUTION: A rotating body 6 is fitted to the outside of a spiral spring 4 enclosed in a door closing apparatus body 2 mounted to the door, and the rotating body 6 is wound with a wire 12. The wire 12 is led out of the rotating body 6 and further led out of the door closing apparatus body 2 through a first lead-out hole 21. The wire 12 is wound on a wire turn-around member mounted to an upper frame, and turned around to the door closing apparatus body 2 side and led into the door closing apparatus body 2 through a lead-in hole 22. The wire 12 is then led out of the door closing apparatus body 2 through a second lead-out hole 36, and a ball-like slip-off stopper 15 larger in diameter than the second lead-out hole 36 is formed at the wire 12 led out of the door closing apparatus body 2.
