Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for economically recovering noble metals mainly made up of silver from copper electrolytic slime recovered in a copper electrolytic stage. SOLUTION: In the method for treating copper electrolytic slime, a roasted residuum obtained by removing copper from copper electrolytic slime and performing roasting is subjected to reduction dissolution to produce lead bullion, and, Sb is removed from the lead bullion in a volatilization furnace, and, the Sb-removed lead bullion is further refined in a parting furnace to obtain a noble metal anode. In the above stage where the Sb-removed lead bullion is forcedly oxidized in the parting furnace to remove impurities, so that the noble metal anode is obtained, when the grade of silver in litharge produced by the forced oxidation reaches ≥5%, crude silver extraction of temporarily extracting crude silver in a noble metal grade of about 50 to 60% to the outside of the furnace is performed. Further, the Sb-removed lead bullion is additionally charged thereto, and the forced oxidation treatment is continued. The crude silver extracted before the start of the refining stage in the parting furnace is returned to the parting furnace, and the Sb-removed lead bullion is subjected to the refining treatment together with the crude silver present in the furnace.
