Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a leak current from flowing between adjacent flat cable connection terminals even when the inside of a connector housing is formed into a terminal housing chamber allowing the plurality of flat cable connection terminals to be arranged side by side by spacing them apart from each other. SOLUTION: The terminal housing chamber 23 allowing the plurality of flat cable connection terminals 4 to be arranged side by side by spacing them apart from each other is formed in the connector housing 10. A housing barrier rib 24 is projected on the inside surface of the connector housing 10 in a direction along the lengthwise direction of flat conductors 1 so as to face to a part of a flat insulation cover 2 between the adjacent flat conductors 1 of a flat cable 3 inserted into the housing chamber 23. A retainer 15 is inserted into the connector housing 10, and locked to the connector housing 10. A retainer barrier rib 27 is projected on a surface of the retainer 15 on the side opposite to the barrier rib 24 along the barrier rib 24. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
