Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a current transformer which also reduces connection works sharply, without using a large-sized standard resistor by simple configuration. SOLUTION: The current transformer is provided with a high-precision resistor housed in a small-sized case, and input terminals for inputs from transmitters and an output terminal for connection to a voltmeter are provided. Since no large-sized standard resistors are used, connection work for connection from the transmitters to be performed only one is enough concerning the connection, and the workability is enhanced. By inserting a fuse inside, an excessive input trouble can be prevented. By covering the output terminal with an insulating sheath, grounding and short-circuit faults can be prevented. Consequently, the problem of a decrease in work efficiency can be solved which occurs since the use of a large-sized standard resistor is necessary and connection works to be performed twice is required, once for input connection from the transmitters and once for connection to the voltmeter, to input a current which represents a processing quantity to the voltmeter and calibrate the transmitters, and a very large number of transmitters are usually used in a plant.
