PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easy-to-assemble small lock type parking apparatus by integrating a mechanism for stopping the apparatus when a flap touches a car by erecting with a safety measure against an event that a foot is caught in the apparatus while the apparatus is lowering. SOLUTION: In this apparatus, a flap drive shaft, an adapter, a link, and a cylinder are arranged in this order. A spring deflected by a specified amount is installed between the drive shaft and the adapter, a play is provided between the drive shaft and the adapter, and also a play is provided between the adapter and the link. The situation that the flap is erected and the car touches the flap is detected by that the spring is further deflected in the play. The situation that the foot is caught in the apparatus is detected by that the drive shaft is stopped when the foot is caught and the link is moved in the clearance thereof from the adapter.
