Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inverter-driven compressor for quickly setting a desired value, and preventing overshoot. SOLUTION: A control means sets a first preset pressure value according to a pressure increase rate for indexing a tank internal pressure value detected by a pressure detecting means from a detecting result of the pressure detecting means after driving a motor by a maximum control operation quantity (S6), and performs PI control with the first preset pressure value at that point as a fixed desired value (S8) when reaching this first preset pressure value (S7), and afterwards, performs the PI control with a second preset pressure value as the desired value when the tank internal pressure value detected by the pressure detecting means reaches the second preset pressure value (S9).
