SOLUTION: This underwater branching device comprises a pressure casing 3; a light amplifying circuit unit 8 which is provided inside a junction circuit unit 9 and relays a transmitted signal; and a power switching circuit unit 7 disposed with a power switching relay 100 for switching high power supply voltage, the inside of the pressure casing 3 including the junction circuit unit 9 being filled with insulated liquid 11.
