Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems of a conventional system incapable of installing a device preventing a power cutoff failure away from home without construction work and of specifying an ordinary home electric appliance. SOLUTION: This outlet strip is provided with a function of simultaneously turning off power sources for a plurality of home electric appliances according to communication with an indoor or outdoor control apparatus and a function of specifying the electric appliance and controlling its power source. When the outlet strip is provided with a light line carrier frequency communication function, a power source controlling function, and a machine type switch, the outlet strip can be installed without requiring any construction work and serves as a means specifying an ordinary home electric appliance.
