Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for providing advertisement information having a high advertisement effect and to provide its server. SOLUTION: An IC card 51 is arranged on the back of an advertisement display 50. By bringing an IC card reader/writer 31 connected to a portable terminal unit 30 closer to the IC card 51, the server address and access key of a storage section 52 is read into the portable terminal unit 30. The portable terminal unit 30 accesses a server 10 for providing advertisement information in accordance with the read server address and then transmits the read access key. The server 10 for providing advertisement information transmits the appropriate advertisement information to the portable terminal unit 30 from the access key in accordance with its presentation place or the operation state of a vehicle.
