Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To retain sealing performance by improving amine resistance of an oil seal for use in a high pressure fuel pump and suppressing cracks being formed in a seal material in being used. SOLUTION: A rubber material whose extension deterioration in being used is set to within 50% is applied to a soft member of the oil seal so as to attain the purpose. Even when the fuel added with amine compound as cleaning agent is used, this constitution eliminate the crack from being formed in the soft member of the oil seal so as to retain the sealing performance.
