PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a miniaturized and thinned liquid fuel feed type fuel cell having a simple structure and high output. SOLUTION: A plurality of unit cells are composed by sandwiching a solid polymer electrolyte film 114 by fuel electrodes 102a and 102b disposed on one surface of the electrolyte film 114 and oxidizer electrodes 108a and 108b disposed on the other surface thereof. This fuel cell having high output is realized by serially connecting the unit cells by a connection electrode 124 penetrating the electrolyte film 114. By forming a slot part 302 in a region between the unit cells on the electrolyte film 114, movement of hydrogen ions to the adjacent unit cells is restrained to prevent voltage drop.
