PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic classification apparatus suitable to classify bulk objects having various sizes and forms and small specific gravities such as trash of plastic package bags and package sheets. SOLUTION: The apparatus is provided with a carrying means 1 to carry the object fed to be classified. A recovery part 3 of a lightweight material to recover a lightweight material in the object is disposed in the lower front part of the carrying end 12 of the carrying means 1, while a recovery part 4 of a heavyweight material to recover a heavyweight material in the object is disposed in front of the recovery part 3 of a lightweight material. An air injection means 5 to inject air sucked in the recovery part 3 side to the object discharged from the carrying end 12 is disposed in front of the carrying end 12 of the carrying mans 1 so as to introduce the lightweight material to the recovery part 3 of a lightweight material. Moreover, the boundary between the recovery part 3 of the light weight material and the recovery part 4 of the heavyweight material is provided with a guide means 6 to guide the lightweight material falling onto the boundary to the recovery part 3 of the lightweight material.
