Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a liquid radiation-curable resin composition which has a low viscosity, a high refractive index and a good curability by irradiation of a low energetic radiation and gives a cured coating having a low Young's modulus, a large elongation and an excellent characteristic as a primary coating material for optical fibers, and to obtain a coating composition for an optical fiber, and to provide the optical fiber. SOLUTION: The liquid radiation-curable resin composition comprises (A) 100 pts.wt of a urethane (meth)acrylate oligomer having in the molecule a skeleton expressed by formulae (1) and/or (2) (wherein, (a), (b) and (c) are each an integer satisfying 10≤a≤40, 20≤b≤60, 10≤c≤40; and (d), (e) and (f) are each an integer satisfying 10≤d≤40, 20≤e≤70 and 10≤f≤40), (B) 5-200 pts.wt. of an ethylenically unsaturated compound and (C) 0-20 pts.wt. of a photopolymerization initiator.
