Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter cartridge which corresponds not only to the bidirectional flow in a filling port but also to the flow to a branch passage without penetrating foreign matter trapped during the filling with a fluid into a fluid circuit. SOLUTION: The monolithic filter cartridge 10 is formed of a tubular screen 22 having an opening end, a screen 24 for closing one end of the screen 22, annular ribs 26, 28 and 30 over-molded on these screens and an axial rib for mutually connecting these ribs. A groove is formed to the annular rib 30 along the outer periphery thereof and a seal ring is mounted in the groove. By this constitution, the branch channel 18 in the fluid circuit is separated to enable the axial back flow passing through the horizontal screen 24 and the radial outward flow to the branch channel 18 without penetrating foreign matter trapped during the filling with the fluid into the fluid circuit.
