Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thawing duct and a thawing system wherein the ability to thaw snow and to keep a greenhouse warm is good, the thawing system does not shade something, assembly is simple, the material cost and the construction cost are low, and the ability to withstand to long-term service is good. SOLUTION: The thawing duct is made of a transparent resin film and has an air inlet and an air outlet being the gap in the region formed by superposing the two end wings extended outwardly of the duct. Desirably, the duct is one in which a tube made of a transparent resin film is set. The duct is set on the valley between opposing transparent resin film roofs. Warm air is fed into the duct, desirably the tube, to thaw the snow on the roof, the air is discharged from the gap, and the snowmelt is discharged through a water discharge trough from a water collection port formed on the upper surface of the duct.
