Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a deodorizing device capable of being operated continuously over a long period of time by re-purifying a photocatalyst for repetitive use, and a deodorizing system using the photocatalyst capable of removing solid elements as well as odor elements effectively even when the solid elements such as gum component or dust are considerably included in gas to be treated. SOLUTION: In the deodorizing device 1, a bead-shaped photocatalyst is allow to circulate in a treatment pipeline 21 through which the gas G to be treated including odor can pass. The photocatalyst came out of the pipeline 21 is sent to a photocatalyst purifying device 3 to be purified, then again passes through the pipeline 21 of the device body 2. A water treatment device 8 is disposed upstream of the device 1 to spray water to the gas G, thus the solid elements such as gum component or dust are pretreated.
