Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a burden of an overlapped state detecting operation to be individually performed to each of nodes by a user, and to automatically judge and specify to the user whether a set address is overlapped in a node on a network or not. SOLUTION: In a network environment wherein address setting of a plurality of devices connected to the network is controlled, a detailed device information display part 303 investigates whether or not an address set by communicating with the other device is double used in the other node within the network and when it is detected that the address is double used in the other node, the overlapped state of the set intrinsic address is reported.
