PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a writing utensil shaft in which an eraser is built and the eraser is used by delivering it to the apex part of the writing utensil shaft from the inside of the writing utensil shaft so as to solve the inconvenience where, when the eraser is needed, one has to shift from the writing utensil to the eraser. SOLUTION: An eraser delivery device 2, an eraser case 3 and the eraser 4, are built in a writing utensil shaft main body 1. When a knob 5 is moved to the apex of the writing utensil shaft, the eraser delivery device, the eraser case and the eraser placed therein in the writing utensil shaft main body are also moved to the apex of the writing utensil shaft, and the eraser case and the eraser placed therein are delivered to the apex of the writing utensil shaft from a delivery opening 6.
