Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply estimate deformation of a molded product to be molded by compression molding a thermosetting resin molding material containing glass fibers by using upper and lower molds having a temperature difference. SOLUTION: A temperature difference ΔT at the time of temperature reversing phenomenon during compression molding is calculated according to the formula: ΔT=at+b derived from the thickness of the thermosetting resin molding compound 3 charged in the upper and lower molds 1 and 2, the quality of the thermosetting resin molding compound 3 and a compression molding condition. The deformation quantity (curvature of the deformed part) ρ of the molded product 4 is calculated according to formula: ρ=α×ΔT on the basis of the calculated temperature difference ΔT and the coefficient α of linear expansion derived from the quality of the thermosetting resin molding compound 3.
