Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal transmission system of a normally-closed cut propulsion machine capable of transmitting a signal from an electronic circuit incorporated in a drill head through a relatively simple arrangement. SOLUTION: The signal transmission system in a normally-closed cut propulsion machine comprises a propeller 6 including a drill head 10, an electronic circuit unit 50 incorporated in the drill head 10, and a signal processor for processing a signal from the electronic circuit unit 50 as required. The drill head 10 incorporates a communication circuit, and a transmission/reception antenna 42 is fixed to the outside of the propeller 6. The communication circuit is connected with the transmission/reception antenna 42 through a communication cable 74, and a communication signal from the communication circuit is transmitted through the transmission/reception antenna 42 and the propeller 6 thence transmitted through a receiving means for transmission to a signal processing means.
