Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely pull out a strap from clearance between a pillar trim and a weatherstrip at air bag unfolding time with the simple constitution in a vehicular occupant protective device. SOLUTION: This vehicular occupant protective device has an air bag inflated and unfolded in a cabin from above a vehicle side part, a trim material 14 for covering the cabin inside of a pillar part 11 of a vehicle, the strap 3 arranged in a space blocked up by the pillar part 11 and the trim material 14 and connecting the air bag and the pillar part 11, and a head lining for covering the ceiling inside of the vehicle. The head lining has a projecting part 201 projecting in the space so as to overlap with the trim material 14. An edge part 202 of the projecting part 201 is extendingly constituted toward the clearance 30 side between the pillar part 11 and the trim material 14 more than an edge part 14a of the trim material 14.
