Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize the cooking of rice which improves the taste of cooked rice at a small lot of cooking and furthermore, ensures a better taste how much rice may be cooked by improving drying. SOLUTION: This rice cooker has a body 1, a pot 2 to be housed inside the body 1, a bottom part heating means 3 disposed facing the bottom surface part of the pot 2, a bottom side part heating means 4 disposed facing the bottom side part of the pot 2 and a lid 5 covering an opening part in the top surface of the body 1. In the shape, the pot 1 has the inner diameter of the side bottom part smaller than the diameter of the pot while the inner diameter thereof is made larger gradually to the upper part thereof from one point of inflection arranged near the bottom part of the side of the pot.
