Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image whose color areas are expanded by a color printer to form an image on a photosensitive medium including four or more layers. SOLUTION: The image is formed by transmitting each polarized beam obtained by four or more light sources 12 to a space light modulator 20, and a formed image is printed by the color printer 10. A modulated beam is generated at need. The modulated beam passes through a printing lens 110 and reaches the photosensitive medium 140. The light sources 12 are constituted of a laser, an LED or another appropriate materials. The single space light modulator 20 may be used as a common member for each color path or one light modulator 20 may be respectively provided at four color paths in an operation state.
