PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet-type display device which reliably rotates rotating particles at a high speed and realizes a stable continuous display and an excellent memory property when no electric field is applied. SOLUTION: In the sheet-type display device, the display is performed by rotating the rotating particles in accordance with the action of an electric field. Therein, the rotating particles have N pieces of regions which have respectively surfaces different in color (wherein, N is an integer of ≥2), the regions are respectively divided into equal parts from the center of the rotating particles and the difference between the specific gravity of the region and the specific gravity of the rotating particles is respectively ≤0.2.
