Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a unidirectional three-dimensional fiber structure which is simply obtained in an arbitrary cross-sectional shape without needing a weaving process, has a high interlaminar strength, and does not form a crack. SOLUTION: The method for producing the unidirectional three-dimensional fiber structure is characterized by inserting many unidirectionally arranged filaments 44 into one end entrance 46a of a cylindrical die 47 having many needle holes 48 in the peripheral wall, applying a three-dimensional multi-axial needling treatment through the needle holes and simultaneously pulling out the treated many filaments 44 from the other end exit 46b of the cylindrical die.
