Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-contact switch which neither is accompanied with spark discharge nor causes contacts to melt, etc. SOLUTION: The switch comprises an inductance element disposed between at least one of first and second electrodes and a shield case, and a capacitance element disposed between the first and second electrodes. The capacitance element has first and second capacitance element electrodes and a dielectric freely insertably between the first and second capacitance element electrodes. The dielectric is inserted between the first and second capacitance element electrodes to bring the first and second electrodes in a continuity at a frequency of a transmission signal, or moved away so that the dielectric no more exists between the first and second capacitance element electrodes, thereby making the first and second electrodes cut off at the frequency of the transmission signal.
