Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that since an Internet terminal is needed to exchange electronic mail, a communication with a person who does not have a mail address is not made. SOLUTION: An electronic mail system is equipped with an electronic mail transmission and reception means of transmitting and receiving electronic mail, an identification code imparting means of imparting an identification code by relaying the electronic mail, an identification code and mail address storage means of relating and storing the mail addresses and identification codes, a 1st transmission means of transmitting the electronic mail given the identification code, a 1st conversion means of receiving the electronic mail and converting it into a letter or postcard by a conversion device, a 2nd conversion means of electronizing reply information of a letter or a postcard to the electronic mail, a mail address imparting means of imparting a mail address by relaying the reply information electronized by the 2nd conversion means, and a 2nd transmission means of transmitting the electronized reply information to the mail address.
