Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-developable photosensitive material having high sensitivity and good long-term preservability while using a photosensitive silver halide having a high silver iodide content and ensuring good image preservability after heat development. SOLUTION: In the heat-developable photosensitive material comprising on a support at least a photosensitive silver halide, a non-photosensitive organic silver salt, a reducing agent and a binder, the average silver iodide content of the photosensitive silver halide is 5-100 mol% and a compound represented by formula (1) is contained, wherein R is a monovalent substituent; m is an integer of 1-4; when m is ≥2, a plurality of symbols R may be the same or different; and when a plurality of symbols R are adjacent to each other, an aliphatic ring, an aromatic ring or a heterocycle may be formed.
