Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a car shut-in accident without the danger of a falling object. SOLUTION: A receiving box 10 having an upper face open part 11 is rotatably supported to the lower part of a structure 1 or a car 2, while installing a driving device 22 for generating a rotational driving force for opening/closing the receiving box. A rotating shaft 31 connected to the driving device is provided with a driving force transmission mechanism 30 having link members 33', 33" constituting a toggle link mechanism, and the driving force of the rotating shaft is transmitted to the receiving box through the link members to open/ close the receiving box. A bidirectional stabilizer 40 is provided for imparting restoring force in the opening direction and closing direction of the receiving box to stably hold the opening/closing state of the receiving box. Abutting members 61 are provided on the upper side of the receiving box, and inclined abutted portions 62 are provided at the lower face part of the car or the face of the structure facing the receiving box..When the car ascends or descends, the abutted portion pushes away the abutting member to guide the car to the nearest floor even in the failure of a part of a control device.
