Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a display panel have higher resolution and many gradations while effectively securing the section period per horizontal line in subfield driving. SOLUTION: Two switching elements are provided in parallel for each of pixels 2 constituting a liquid crystal panel 1 and conduction control is performed independently by driving circuit couples 3a and 4a (or 3b and 4b). In a data write period of a 1st subfield, a 1st scanning line driving part 3a and a 1st data line driving part 4a cooperate to write data.
