Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tip end rod cover for protecting the tip end rod fixed with a plurality of guides of usual joined rods, or the like. SOLUTION: This tip end rod cover A is provided by forming a tubular member 1 which is formed with a synthetic resin such as a polycarbonate, polypropylene, polyethylene or polyamide and has a higher stiffness than that of the tip end rod and ≥200 mm length and ≤15 mm outer diameter and has a straight shape from the tip end or has ≤3/1,000 taper ratio in the outer circumference of the tubular member. At the one end part 1a side of the tubular member 1, a mounting part α consisting of an engaging tool 2, a rubber band 3 and a stand part 4 is installed and a notched part 1b is formed from the one end part 1a of the tubular member 1 which faces another end. When the tubular member 1 is attached to the tip end rod 6, the tip end rod 6 is inserted into the tubular member 1 and the tip end rod is engaged by the mounting part α. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
