PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grass collecting and guiding structure of a mower avoiding the contact of a bottom wall with the ground surface when the extension length of the-bottom wall to the rear is increased to improve grass collecting performances and raising the reliability maintaining the high grass collecting performances over a long period though the cut grass sticking to the bottom wall can simply be removed by vertical shaking operation of the bottom wall. SOLUTION: The grass collecting and guiding structure of the mower is composed by liftaby and lowerably installing a rear discharge mower 4 in a traveling machine body 1 and connecting a cut grass discharge passage part 31 in a rear ascending tilted posture formed in a housing 26 of the rear discharge mower 4 through a grass collecting duct 33 to a grass collecting container 34 provided at the rear of the traveling machine body 1. The cut grass discharge part 31 is composed so as to vertically shake the bottom wall 43 thereof interlockingly with operation of an operating lever 49. Furthermore, a limiting mechanism 50 limiting the shaking range of the bottom wall 43 is installed so that the shaking manipulated variable from the cut grass guiding posture of the bottom wall 43 is reduced with reducing ground height of the rear discharge mower 4.
